Built-in chargers for fire fighting vehicles and intervention vehicles
The charger series VAC-F is designed for installation in the vehicle and complies with all regulations of the FNFW of the valid fire brigade standard DIN 14679 for charging and conservation of charge of auxiliary batteries and starter batteries in intervention vehicles.
- Charging programs No. 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (start, gel, AGM, acid) adjustable (refer to Technical Data)
- Outstanding charging technology (refer to Features)
- All-automatic continuous operation for permanent readiness for use of the vehicle
- The charging voltage is exempt from peaks, and it is controlled in such a way, that overcharging is excluded
- Trouble-free operation and simultaneous supply of the units being connected to the vehicle's board mains supply
- Optical and acoustical warning in case of battery failures and operating errors
- Precise temperature compensation, temperature sensor(s) is (are) included in the standard delivery
- Battery regeneration in case of extended stop periods twice a week
- Compensation of the voltage loss on the charging cables ensuring exact observation of the charging voltage rates
- Separation of the batteries in case of power failure, overheating, incorrect behaviour (safety relay for each charging port)
- Power pack function allows continued operation of the consumers and preservation of data, such as in case of battery replacement
- Manual charging start for totally discharged battery according to DIN 14679
- The electronic system is protected against humidity
