SpecificatiesSIMRAD NSS7 TOUCH SCREEN 7 INCH MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY C/W EMEA DOWNLOAD KIT What is an EMEA Download Kit ? You have the choice of using either Navionics or C-Map charts, simply go to the relevant web sites and search for the chart area's you require and download them directly - PLEASE NOTE CHARTS ARE NOT FREE AND ARE CHARGED AT THE TIME OF DOWNLOAD. The kit gives you complete control over which areas you download and allows you to update your charts yourself without the need to return them to your retailer. SIMRAD NSS7 Say hello to Simrad's new NSS Sport series of multifunction displays. They have all the capabilities of the NSE series (which they can network with) plus a built-in GPS and, in the case of 7- and 8-inch sizes, a built-in Broadband fishfinder as well, along with a competitive price tag. But the key feature is an LED backlit touch screen that is nearly as bright (1200 nits) as the NSE's (1500), and which Simrad has used to create a combination knob, button, and touch interface it's calling "Touch Sensible"... EXTREME EASE OF USE Simple menus and icons on the touch-screen guide you to the information you need, and the keypad includes 'one-touch' buttons for immediate access to important functions such as the autopilot. It's easy to use for everyone onboard. TOUCH SENSIBLETM TECHNOLOGY Developed specifically for the marine environment, Touch SensibleTM technology is the combination of touch-screen, keypad, and super-smooth rotary controller. This perfect blend allows the NSS Sport to deliver unrivalled performance of every function with the simple touch of a finger in any sea state. POWERFULLY FAST CHARTING The NSS Sport is a fast and efficient chartplotter. Panning the charts, marking waypoints, or building routes are easy with the touch-screen, whilst the smooth rotary controller enables ultra-fast zooming. EXPANDABLE The NSS Sport is 100% compatible and networks effortlessly with every Simrad Yachting Performance Module including the award-winning Broadband RadarTM , StructureScanTM and SonicHubTM . It can also be integrated with NSE and NSO systems for the ultimate in flexibility. FULL CONTROL AND INTEGRATION Not only is the NSS Sport an outstanding chartplotter and fish finder, it's a complete command centre. Monitor your engine, steer your autopilot, turn on your bait well or bilge pump, or even set mood lighting – it's all a touch simpler with the NSS Sport. BRIGHT SCREENS Unique LED backlighting technology allows the NSS Sport display to be bright, clear, and highly visible in every conceivable condition. Added to this, the technology also reduces power consumption and increases product life. Should I consider buying a Simrad Yachting Multifunctional display? The Simrad NSS will appeal to recreational boaters looking for a tough and adaptable multifunction navigation system that works straight out of the box.
