The 1198c SI Combo features a huge 10.4 display with LED backlight, Side Imaging and DualBeam PLUS sonar with up to 8000 Watts PTP* power output, GPS Chartplotting with a built-in basemap, and advanced Fishing System capabilities. Includes unit cover and in-dash mounting kit. Maximize your angling experience with the Humminbird 1198c SI Combo fishfinder system. The 1198c SI Combo fishing system uses Side Imaging sonar to provide a wide yet precise survey of a large area of water, including detailed bottom topography and fish-attracting structure orientation. The Side Imaging transducer returns are processed into an image similar to an aerial photograph. The Side Imaging transducer also provides Down Imaging displays on the displays on the screen. The 1198c SI fishing system uses a 200/83 KHz DualBeam PLUS sonar system with wide (60°) area of coverage. DualBeam PLUS sonar has a narrowly focussed 20° center beam, surrounded by a second beam of 60°, expanding your coverage to an area equal to your depth. In 20 feet of water, the side band covers an area 300 feet wide. DualBeam PLUS sonar returns can be blended together, viewed separately, or compared side-by-side. DualBeam PLUS is ideal for a wide range of conditions – from shallow to very deep water in both fresh and salt water. The two SD memory card slots on your control head can be used with SD memory cards (optional-purchase required) to add detailed charts, update system software or to export navigation data for external use.
